Forgotten Fifteenth
Barrett Tillman
2014
This is an excellent history of the 15th Air Force in the Mediterranean Theater of operations during the Second World War. The 15th Air Force attacked Nazi forces and their allies from Africa and Italy during 1943 to 1945. B-24s and B-17s ultimately strangled Germany's industries and fuel production in Austria and the Balkan Peninsula.

The Wrong Stuff
Truman Smith

The adventures and misadventures of an 8th Air Force B-17 Pilot and his crew. This is one of my world war II aviation favorites. It offers a different insight into bomber aviation and war time life in England.
