Maria Caroline Anna von Thun, Lady Guisford. Married Richard Meade, Lord Guilford, 2nd Earl Clanwilliam (1766-1805). They had one son Richard Charles Francis Christian Meade, 3rd Earl of Clanwilliam, and two daughters Caroline, Countess Szechenyi (1794-1820) and Selina, Countess Clam-Martinic (1797-1872) who married back into the Austrian aristocracy. Vigee Le Brun also painted her sisters (Elizabeth Razomovskaya and Princess Linovska), and their mother, Countess Thun.

This is another vesion of the Angelica Catalani portrait (and Art Page 19) previously owned by the Kimbell Art Museum, Ft Worth Texas. The image of this painting at the Arkhangelskoe Estate appeared in a 1983 book confirming that it is a different version of the previous Kimbell Museum painting.
