Madeleine Charlotte Christine comtesse de Béon du Massés Cazaux. Vigée Le Brun listed two portraits of her 1787. One of them was exhibited that year at the Salon de l’Académie Royale.The portrait was sold 2015 for 689,700 EUR.

Field Marshal Count Ivan Petrovich Soltikoff (28 Jun 1730 - 14 Nov 1805). Count Ivan Petrovich Soltikoff was an accomplished Russian Field Marshall and the Governor general of Moscow from 1797 to 1804. He began military service at the age of 15. After a long career he was forced to retire in 1795 after 50 years of service. The following year he was recalled to aervice Paul afer the death of Katherine the great. This image is a copy of the painting in the Peter and Paul Fortress. The original caption reads, "Copy by an unknown artist from the first part of the nineteenth century after Vigée Le Brun's original, 1801. From Vigée Le Brun's Memoirs: "The wife of Marshal Soltikoff asked me to paint portraits of her husband and her daughter. I had placed the portrait in front of [a stove] to dry and I found [it] half grilled and so badly scorched that I was obliged to start it all over again"- Chap. XXIV
