Prince Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski - 1793

Prince Adam Casimir Czartoryska (1734-1823) was a famous Statesman and candidate to the polish throne (1764) and later Austrian Field Marshal. This is one of two versions of the sitter painted in 1793 in Vienna. This version (with red cape) was intended as a pendant to the portrait of his sister Princess Isabella Lubormirska(1782) on Art Page 22.The other portrait of the Prince (with blue cape) is on Art Page 125. Princess Maria Cristina di Borbone - 1791

Maria Cristina Teresa di Borbone, Princess of the Two Sicilies (1779-1849). In 1790 at the request of the Queen, Vigée le Brun agreed to delay her departure from Naples in order to paint Princess Maria Cristina of Naples (Later Queen of Sardinia), her two sisters Maria Theresa (soon to be Empress of Austria), Maria Louisa (later Grand Duchess of Tuscany), her brother Francesco De Borbone (future King of Naples-1825) and her mother Queen Maria Caroline of Austria, sister of Marie Antoinette. This portrait was displayed in the 2015 Paris Exhibition.
